Hand Sewn Toss Pillow

A few days ago while cleaning up one of the cupboards, I found a bunch of scrap pieces of cloth and gave it to Hrishika. I didn't have much use for it.

This evening she surprised me with a toss pillow which she made all by herself. She sewn the whole pillow and the applique work by hand. If I may say so, she did a wonderful job of that. It is very well made. She did a good job of cutting out the butterfly. It is so cute. The color choices are great too.

By the way, the pillow feels super soft!!!

A Bite!!!

Hrishika took a couple of bites from her Nectarine today and ended with what looked like an "Exclamation Point"! So she took a picture of that. I had to upload it to her blog!!!

Glass Painting: Birds

Couple of days ago while cleaning up some cupboards we found the glass paints we bought last summer in India. Immediately Hrishika got to work. She made these two bird paintings on a plastic transparency sheet using glass paints. Glass colors look quite brilliant. The blue bird reminded me of the movie Rio!!!

Painting: Rooster

Hrishika knows I love roosters. So she painted one for me this summer. Truly colorful.

Summer Camp: Basketball

Hrishika attended a basketball summer camp for a week at Chaboya Middle school. Each day they would meet for 3 hours from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. It was conducted by EASY hoops basketball. She had lot of fun. Each day they awarded couple of campers, campers of the day medal. At the end of the week they awarded the camper of the week award to Hrishika.
