Hrishika's First Ever Triathlon!

Yes that's right, Hrishika took part in her first ever triathlon. In fact that is a first one for our family. The event was organized by Club ONE. It involved a 80 meter swim followed by a 3 mile bike and lastly a 2 mile run. Three of Hrishika's friends from her school took part too. It was a non timed event. Everybody who took part walked away with a medal and a few goodies.

Fashion Show for Diwali

This was another first for Hrishika. She took part in a fashion show to showcase beautiful Indian dresses for Diwali. It took place at the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. Children ranging from 3 to 18 years of age took part in the show. Hrishika wore a white Anarkali style dress with some bead work given to her by her grandma. Very elegant dress I have to say. One of our friends was the organizer and she did a fabulous job. It was a very colorful event to say the least.
